PepsiCo and The PepsiCo Foundation committed more than $45 million to combat the impacts of Covid-19, providing vital local humanitarian support and distributing more than 50 million meals worldwide.PepsiCo is leveraging its own distribution expertise and investing heavily in partnerships to increase access to nutrition in response to worldwide COVID-19-related school closures. The company is also funding vital support including protective gear for healthcare workers, testing and screening services. Additionally, workers caring for someone either stricken with COVID-19 or showing symptoms were eligible for their pay during a 14-day quarantine period. The company also expanded paid sick-leave policy.
